It is in the host’s best interest to never cancel a potential reservation. However, here is what will happen if they have to cancel.

Prior to one week before the confirmed start date:
If a host or a renter needs to cancel a reservation prior to one week before the confirmed booking start date, there will be no penalty for the host or the renter.

Less than one week before confirmed start date:
If a host needs to cancel a reservation less than one week before the confirmed booking start date, they will receive a warning. Multiple warnings could lead to them being banned from the Neighbor site. As a renter, if your reservation is cancelled by the host you can contact support@neighbor.com to request help in finding an alternative storage space.
