Neighbor takes the work out of remembering to pay your host on time each month by automatically charging your credit card each month. Although you'll need to enter your credit card information when placing your reservation, your card will not be charged until the host approves your reservation.
On the same day each month as your reservation start date, your credit card will be charged again. To avoid failed payments, weekly default fees, and eventual eviction, it is important to keep your payment information up-to-date.
How do I update my payment information?
You can update your credit card information from the Renter Payment section of your User Dashboard. Enter your new credit card information and click Save!
Is my credit card information safe?
Neighbor does not store your payment information. Instead, it is stored off-site by Stripe, our payment gateway, on their encrypted and PCI-compliant servers. Stripe is a secure, online platform used by hundreds of thousands of vendors word-wide including Amazon and Facebook. In addition, the green lock symbol and https:// in the URL bar of your browser shows that Neighbor's website is secure and encrypted.
