Here at Neighbor, we want our hosts to rent out their unused spaces without fear of potential liability issues! 

When using Neighbor, hosts and renters agree that hosts are not responsible for damage that may occur to the renter’s stored items unless the host caused the damage.

Hosts are also not responsible for bodily injuries to the renter unless the host was grossly negligent or engaged in willful misconduct.

We also have our [$1 Million Host Guarantee](https://www.neighbor.com/host-guarantee)! This protects hosts from certain liability claims made by third parties and renters using the Neighbor platform. See our [Terms of Service](https://www.neighbor.com/terms-of-service) for more details. 

We also offer our renters a variety of [Property Protection Plans](https://kst.mr/rJHY4_1q5) when they request a reservation. Our plans protect their stored items if they are damaged or stolen while being stored in a Neighbor space!

Note: Some exclusions apply to the $1 Million Host Guarantee, including liability resulting from non-storage-related activities.
