To become a host and publish a listing on the Neighbor platform, you’ll need to verify your photo ID! This verification check is in place to keep our community safe and secure. Before hosting on the Neighbor platform, please verify your identity through our verification partner, Persona! 

Persona is a secure identification platform that is used by many companies around the world. This ensures that Neighbor doesn’t store your identifying information for your safety. Use your driver’s license, passport, or state/country identification card as a valid ID.

How to get started in Persona:

1.  Have your government issued photo ID ready. You can use a driver’s license, passport, or state/country identification card.
    
2.  Make sure you have access to a webcam, like the one on your smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
    
3.  Visit your [Profile](https://www.neighbor.com/dashboard/profile) page on our platform
    
4.  Click [Private Information](https://www.neighbor.com/dashboard/profile/private)
    
5.  Under “Photo ID Identification,” click “Verify Your ID”
    
6.  In the pop-up window, click “Begin Verifying”
    

Persona will take you through the process of verifying your ID! After you’re finished, you’re ready to host on Neighbor.
