## **How much do they cost?**

We want to make sure our protection plans are affordable, and that you get the protection you need. Therefore, we offer three levels of protection based on whether you are storing a vehicle or other personal items.

Pricing will vary depending on many factors, but mostly pricing depends on the level of protection you need for the items you are storing.

To see the cost of each plan:

1. Click on the desired storage listing

2. Click the blue “Reserve Space” button

3. Insert the anticipated start date and items you plan to store

4. Once you reach the “Choose your protection plan” page, you will be able to click on “Standard”, “Moderate”, or “Minimum” to see the details of each plan and monthly pricing.

**Standard Plans** provide the greatest amount of protection so you have the most peace of mind!

**Moderate Plans** are great for renters who need more than the minimum protection, but the value of their items is less than the maximum protection provided through our Standard Plan.

**Minimum Plans** are the least expensive option and are great for renters who are storing inexpensive or a small number of items.

## **If I don’t select a plan when I first reserve my space, can I add protection later?**

Absolutely! You can add a protection plan at any time during your first monthly rental period.

If you add a protection plan after your reservation starts, but during your first monthly rental period, the protection plan will be effective beginning on the second month of your reservation. Similarly, your initial charge for the added protection plan will occur at the beginning of the second month.

Here’s an example: _If your reservation started on March 1st, but you decide to add a protection plan on March 16th, your protection will start on April 1st and you will be charged on April 1st, too._

## **Are there any limitations or exclusions under the Property Protection Plan?**

Yes, the Property Protection Plan does include some limitations that help us prevent fraud and keep the costs of the plan down. Property Protection Plans do not provide reimbursement for damage to prohibited items, previous damage, and damage arising from normal wear and tear, among other things. Our full list of limitations can be found in our [Terms of Service](https://www.neighbor.com/terms-of-service).

## **What are my minimum incident and maximum reimbursement amounts?**

The minimum incident amount and maximum reimbursement amount will vary based on the plan you select.

Your **m****inimum incident amount** is $100 if you purchased a Protection Plan with a maximum reimbursement amount of $1000 or more, and $50 if you purchased a Protection Plan with a maximum reimbursement amount of less than $1000.

If you are eligible for reimbursement, the maximum amount payable to you by Neighbor is ninety percent (90%) of the reasonable fair market value costs to repair or replace the damaged or stolen property. For example, if you are eligible for $1000 in reimbursement, Neighbor will pay you $900 to repair or replace your property.

## **How long does my Protection Plan last?**

Your Property Protection Plan begins once you have started storing your items in the Neighbor space, and it will last the duration of your reservation so long as you make your monthly payments. This is only different if you decide to add a protection plan after the start date but during your first monthly rental period. In that case, your protection plan will begin at the start of your second monthly rental period.
