During an active reservation, your credit card will be automatically charged monthly. If the payment method you’re using for Neighbor has failed or declined, we’ll send you an email letting you know! You’ll also see any charges, late fees, or refunds in your [Renter Payment History](https://www.neighbor.com/dashboard/295899/profile/renter-payments) page.

If you’re seeing any failed payments, it means you’ll need to update the information on your [Payment Methods](https://www.neighbor.com/dashboard/442833/profile/payment) page. Until you update, our system will charge the card on file every 48 hours. After ten days, you’ll be [charged a late fee](https://help.neighbor.com/when-a-late-fee-is-charged-r1zcJ0ta9). Make sure to always keep your payment method up-to-date to avoid these fees or a possible eviction.

If you see any charges you’re confused about, check out "[Why did Neighbor charge my credit card?](https://kst.mr/Bk1T1Z_d5)" or [contact](https://neighbor.kustomer.help/contact/contact-support-rJS20bDJY) our Customer Support team for any questions!
