If your renter leaves their items on your property without paying, don’t worry!

In these situations, a member of Neighbor’s Trust & Safety team will contact you after [your renter has a missing payment](https://kst.mr/HyvT7qTnq) for over 30 days. We’ll help you with any next steps and help facilitate an online auction!

Here’s what you can expect with this process:

* You will be asked to take 4-6 photos of the renter’s stored items and send them to Neighbor within 5 days of the initial request. Please remember to not touch or move your renter’s belongings.

* Unless notified by the Neighbor team that the renter has paid, please restrict access to the space from the renter.

* The auction is 100% online, so no need to be physically present until the new owner comes to remove their purchased items!

* After the auction has closed and the items have been removed, you’ll receive your final payout.

* After the items have been removed, you’ll be able to republish your listing on the Neighbor website!

We’ll walk you through every step of this process. Neighbor has your back!

Note: Any obstruction to the auction process could result in delayed or forfeited host payouts.
